What Do I Look for in Masculine Fonts?

When I am looking for masculine fonts, I look for two things:

  1. Heavier font weight. Thicker lines tends to be more masculine than thin.
  2. Non-script fonts with straight lines and sharp corners. Bubblier, flowy fonts tend to have a more feminine feel to them.

Tell me in the comments: What is your favorite commercial use font for using in men’s designs? (Please, no personal use only fonts.)

I use Blowbrush and Brother Nature a lot for Manly fonts, as well. Think they were from fontbundles.
