Have you wondered where to buy patterned vinyl to use in your Silhouette Cameo or Cricut based business? This week’s Supplier Spotlight introduces you to Happy Crafters, a vinyl supply company that carries adhesive vinyl, heat transfer vinyl, cardstock and specialty papers, and rhinestone supplies. Happy Crafters graciously provided me a sample pack of their materials to review for this blog post, but all the opinions below are my own. Happy Crafters offers a full line of solid, glitter, metallic, and flock; but my favorite Happy Crafters product lines are the patterned vinyls. If you are looking for chevron, anchors, leopard, striped, dotted, houndstooth, camo, tie dye, zebra, baseball, bandana, tiger, skulls, cow, plaid, football, grass, reptile, soccer, stars, Hawaiian, checkered flag printed vinyl (and many others) – Happy Crafters is the place to go.

Patterned or Printed Vinyl Quality

I’ve ordered printed vinyl before from various sellers and I have had a few issues. First, a few of the sheets of vinyl I ordered were pixelated and grainy (meaning that the print resolution was not high enough). The other problem that I found with printed vinyl was that the design did not go all the way to the edge of the vinyl. In one case, I bought a 12″ by 12″ sheet of vinyl and there was a white one inch margin around the entire printed design, meaning that only 10″ by 10″ of the vinyl was usable. I’m happy to report that my Happy Crafters samples offered crisp designs with no pixelation, and the designs were printed reasonably close to the edge or all the way to the edge. Look at the photos below taken with my Canon Rebel T5 that I’ve recommended on the blog before.

Is this HTV something I would use to attach an embroidered monogram onto a camp chair back? I've never used this before but trying to figure out a way to put the monograms on the chairs. Thank you

Hello! I'm not quite clear on what you are trying to do. Usually, you'd choose either embroidery or htv for camping chairs, I've seen both work.

Thanks for the list of suppliers. I now just drive to Dallas to get great varieties of vinyl and HTV. Besides that they are very helpful too.
