Etsy, like most other selling platforms, has fees that need to be paid to sell. Etsy bills the first of the month. For those on autopay, fees are charged to your card on file on the first. For those not on autopay, your fees are due before the 15th of the month. A few Cutting for Business readers have asked how to pay your Etsy fees from your Etsy Shop Account. Luckily, it’s really easy:
Reader Question: How can I pay my Etsy bill using money in my shop account?
Christine’s Answer: First, log into Etsy. From the “Your Shop” link, select “Finances”, then “Your Bill”. Near the top of the page, find the link for “Make a Manual Payment”.
Reader Question: Can I set up my Etsy bill to be paid automatically from my shop account?
Christine’s Answer: Unfortunately, you cannot. However, if you’d like to pay your Etsy bill from your Shop Payment Account, you can log in once a week to pay off your balance. You’d most likely want to pay over the weekend since deposits are sent out on Monday. Then, whatever is left in your Etsy Shop Payment Account will be sent to you on Monday.
It’s just that easy!
