I’ve been looking for a way to help connect experienced Silhouette and Cricut small business owners with new business owners for a while. The logistics of it have always proved difficult, so I’ve pushed it aside several times. Then, Facebook came through with a mentoring program that is available in the Facebook groups (this is one of those updates I briefly mentioned in yesterday’s blog post). Now, I don’t have to push it aside anymore. So, let’s look at the Cutting for Business mentoring program.

What Hopes Do I Have for a Mentoring Program?

My wishes with this mentoring program are simple: I’m giving both mentors and mentorees a way to connect with each other. I hope both users gain a crafty friend who has common interests. I hope mentorees feel comfortable asking their mentor questions to become more confident in their own businesses. I hope mentors see the craft business world in a different way.

Good to Know

There’s no pay for mentors and no cost to mentorees. This is a voluntary program designed for two people with a common interest to give and receive help.

You can definitely sign up for both positions. Unfortunately, I'm not available as a mentor.
