Yesterday, I gave an alternative to glittered Christmas ornaments with a tutorial for wood grain Christmas ornaments. Let’s look at another product alternative today: tooth fairy dishes!
I know that many, many sellers love making and selling ring dishes. Unfortunately, the market is just getting saturated. On Etsy alone, a quick search of “Ring dish” at the time of writing this article brought up over 27,000 ring dishes for sale. That’s a lot of competition.
The other day I was thinking about ring dish alternatives. Then, Emily lost a molar and I fumbled around her room to find it under her pillow and nearly impaled myself balancing on the frame of her bed (she has a loft bed) while playing tooth fairy. It dawned on me that a tooth fairy dish is a great product alternative to a ring dish. I did a quick search of “tooth fairy dish” on Etsy and found under 40 listings. For Silhouette Cameo and Cricut sellers, that’s an open market – so get to it and start designing! You’ll need a ring dish (most sellers use sauce or condiment dishes) and some adhesive vinyl.
I’m happy to share the design I whipped up: Download it here in SVG format.
