I recently got the opportunity to try out sublimation on wood. While I’ve done plenty of sublimation onto shirts and cups – I’ve never tried sublimating onto wood.
The process was pretty easy: I used my sublimation printer to print off the design. Then, I pressed the design onto a specially treated wood blank with my heat press. That’s it!
I was surprised by the large variety of hard sublimation blanks on Amazon. Take a look: View sublimation blanks on Amazon.
While I normally paint wood signs, sublimation was perfect for this Merry Everything SVG design because the lines are so thin.
