Quite often, my personal life dictates the posts on Cutting for Business. I think that is true of any blogger, and today is no different. I’m sad to say that one of the blog’s biggest fans and avid readers is losing his battle with cancer. That reader is my dad. While he never comments – and has never used a Silhouette or Cricut – he reads every post.

My heart goes out to you. I lost my beautiful Momma when I was only 14 years old. That was 32 years ago. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her. Cancer takes away so many people in the prime of their life. Sending my prayers and condolences for the loss of your Dad.

My dad has brain cancer and lung cancer fighting for his life everyday this is so inspirational to us we are making this for the back of my kids football helmets for the allstar game this weekend thank you so much

So sorry to hear the news about your Dad :( My father was just diagnosed with cancer last week and it's heart breaking. They are our best cheerleaders. Thank you for the reminder to cheer for him now and help him fight till the end.
