It seems like Silhouette Cameo and Cricut small business crafters are obsessed with the Target Dollar Spot. I’m a big fan too, for a few different reasons:
Reasons I Love Target Dollar Spot for Small Business
- Target Dollar Spot items make great inexpensive fillers for craft shows and events.
- Dollar Spot items make awesome photo props for your products.
- You can put together a great giveaway basket inexpensively by filling it with Target Dollar Spot items that you’ve customized.
- Dollar Spot items make great practice pieces for new Silhouette Cameo or Cricut crafters.
On a local field trip to my Target Dollar Spot, I decided to snap a few photos to show you what’s available this year. (While I was photographing products, I was trying to logically explain in my head what I would say when security questioned me. Luckily, I didn’t have to school anyone on what a blog was!)
Remember to shop early for Target Dollar Spot items. Once they are sold out, they are generally don’t restock.
Here’s what my 3 local Targets had in stock
Sign Blanks

Bulletin Boards

Dishes, Bottles, and Cups

(Adorable!) Plush Characters

Table Runners, Placemats, and Dish Towels

Buckets

Felt Goodies

Mini Cutting Boards

Metal Mailboxes

I photographed products that I thought would be money makers for Silhouette or Cricut crafters to embellish and sell. Here’s a peek at the aisles.

Whew, that was a lot! Get out there, start shopping, and get to crafting! You could make Valentine’s Day quite profitable for your small business.

This is a great post. Unfortunately not all Target stores are as well stocked as yours is. This is a sad thing. I wish they would be uniform in what they stock and how they organize it. I have to go all around the atore to find the secret places they have things....but I look. Thanks again for your information.

Can this be online shopping or only in store! You did a great post with this! My nearest Target is 80 or so miles away! But I'm going! Love stuff like this for my home!

Thank you so much for giving of your time to take all the pictures for this post. I love that I can see what all might be available at our Target. I haven't been able to go shopping for several months now, so my husband goes for me. I have learned to be as detailed as possible, so the right items make it home (and pictures always are a huge help!) :)
