I know that February is a short month, but it just seemed to fly by this year! My favorite post this month was probably the online map of local craft stores. Why? Because I’ve had several tiny vinyl retailers email me to thank me for new customers that they’ve received because of the map. That just warms my heart! Be sure to check out the post below – I’m continually adding new retailers to it.

I’d love if you shared the image below to Facebook or Pinterest to help spread the word about Cutting for Business!

This post links to a post about the 3 least expensive businesses for Silhouette crafters, and then a few lines down links to a list of the 4 most overcrowded niches in the Silhouette business world. Two niche markets are listed in both articles. It wouldn't be a big deal except the first post encourages crafters to try out working the 3 most cost-effective businesses and the second post tells us that we shouldn't. Contradictory at best and straight up shady at worst, and it makes it seem like you may be compiling these lists for clicks rather than thoroughly and thoughtfully creating them. Just my thoughts.

Good morning and thanks for your thoughts. Neither post is contradictory or shady. Both posts referenced are different topics - and both provide information for a different topic (ie: A new seller wondering what the cheapest businesses are to start versus a new seller needing to know what they are up against before diving into a market). It would be expected that the most crowded niches are among the cheapest ones to start (I'd be really surprised if these posts didn't overlap - wouldn't you?).
